I'm interested in getting a piercing but I hate needles! When I had surgery a few years ago, I was on morphine and I got blood drawn without feeling a thing. So, I'm wondering if maybe morphine or a similar strong painkiller could numb me enough that the piercing wouldn't hurt much. Anyone have any ideas about this?
1. I know piercers won't pierce someone who is obviously under the influence of drugs.
2. I know morphine is a prescription medication.
3. I know I should quit being a wuss and just take the pain.
Disregarding the three facts stated above, does anybody know if morphine would work to numb me sufficiently? Or does it not work that way?
Thanks!
