According to Dr. Goldstein, birth control pills permanently alter a woman's hormones, causing vaginal problems. The only way to correct the change is to stop the pill and begin hormone treatment. I'd never heard of this before today, but it's an interesting possibility. He has offices in NYC, Annapolis, and Washington, D.C., and patients fly from all over the country to see him. Unfortunately, he doesn't accept insurance, and his service is costly. Nevertheless, this could be something worth saving up money for.
